Indications
 
Prother® 5 is a hyperproteic food for special medical purposes, constituted of non-denaturated whey proteins of high biological value (DIF16WPI®). The intake of whey proteins of high biological value is particularly useful in the dietary management of subjects presenting muscle mass loss (sarcopenia) due to malnutrition, aging and chronic diseases.

How to use
The recommended daily dose is 1 or 2 sachets per day. Pour the content of 1 or 2 sachets of soluble Prother® 5 into a glass. Add from 150 to 200 ml of water or any other beverage (milk, tea), as long as cold or at least at room temperature. Stir briefly (without using a blender) and drink immediately. Considering its solubility, 1-2 sachets of Prother® 5 can be administered in 500-1000 ml of water, depending on the calculated water and protein needs of the patient, through tube and/or PEG, following medical advice.
